As I walk aimlessly onĀ an empty street,
I feel a resounding beat.
Pink flamingos dance in joy,
Over the clear crystal stream.
Stretched across a cloudy plain,
The rainbow shows its face.
Sparkling droplets touch the waters,
Rain poured in rapid pace.
Along the margin of the stream,
Tossing their feathers in spree,
Find way to the bushes in solitude,
Pink flamingos in glee.
The tapping rain, then takes a pause,
A silent fear rushes in.
All is calm and nearly still,
Nature at it’s will.
I find myself in nature’s arms,
Seems blissful and content.
Eyes turn moist and cheeks oh so pale,
As I find myself rejoice.
