As I hear my son calling me, Mama Mama, where are you? I wana have some fun with you…. Come come… He puts on some music and we dance freely just to have a bit of fun. His cubby holed smile made me so happy. I decided to pen this down. 15-7-17.
Walk with me Papa and Mama,
Please hold my little hand.
I yet stumble, fall, slip and hurt,
There are things that I have to learn.
So today I’ll hold my babies hand,
And walk freely under the sky.
Let’s take time to jump and play,
To watch all the birds that fly.
I’ll stop to smell a fragrant rose,
And leave footprints in the sand.
Let’s splash in the muddy puddles,
And watch the raindrops patter by.
Let’s have lots of chocolates and brownies,
So I can wipe your sweet little lips.
Sleep sideways next to my pillow,
I’ll let you kick me with your hip.
Let me carry you often,
When you fall asleep in my car.
For when your legs grow tall and shoulders big,
I wont be able to piggy back you so far.
