As I was looking at the water,
Saw myself at the edge of a pond.
Then I saw my own reflection,
I felt as if there is some bond.
I viewed my own self in it,
A face, so new and raw.
I kept staring in the water,
It left me with an awe.
The sunshine gave it brightness,
My face lit up with a charm.
The clouds gave me shelter,
The mountains took me in it’s arms.
The waves rolled back and forth,
As I wandered in my thoughts.
I couldn’t understand the depths of it,
Just the water I stared at.
So I just saw a reflection,
That was none other than my own.
It just lasted for a few moments,
I was happy as I strolled on.
