Paintbrushes so brittle and soft,
Dash on a palette of colours so new.
Colours splash on a wide huge canvas,
Captures shades of bright, faded and new.
I wish Life could be re-painted,
Start afresh with colours anew.
If I could paint the marks and scars,
I would regain friendships too.
I would paint sunshine in the rain,
And snow in the spring,
If failings could be mended,
Friendships would bloom again.
Just as some colours seem to fade away,
So does friendships that no longer stay.
I wish I could paint a rainbow so fresh,
And let friendships trigger life again.
