We are living in a world of abundance, blessed with luxuries. Living a comfortable life is different from aspiring a luxurious car/house that boosts up your ego and status. The 21st century might be an era with the highest possibility in standard of living. Dreams comes alive in the 21st century. Technology and science have advanced and made progress to an extent where they can clone you in seconds and you might spot yourself in duplicates now and then. Children born in this era are blessed with the best and best of comforts in life. Digital science has somehow made its way through all the possibilities that didn’t take place. Children these days seem to enjoy the nostalgia of what they are being offered. As they find themselves into a world of automation, luxury and endless choices, they face an epidemic of confusion in their minds. We cant argue if things have really changed for the better or not. Where is the grace and poise? Where is the safety? Talk to your grandma or parents, they will argue that the moral fibres of threads that once existed have lessened. As we bend in gratitude for all the blessings that we have been blessed with, there exists insecurity, distrust and fear.
Should we call it “HAVOC” ? The world seems to be in havoc these days.
STRESS….everywhere….
Parents are on the high of being vigilant and being a watch dog all the time. Somewhere we are all disturbed by things happening around us. CHILL OUT, says our mind but we can’t. Constant pressures at work, home, family keep us in a state of panic at all times. Will we soon be insomniacs? We are passing on this roller coaster ride to our children as well. The internal sensors that once alarmed us or cautioned us only when things were disturbed now buzz us 24×7. Perils of stress surrounds us with anxiety and worry. Negativity comes to play as we are constantly worried about life desires and being secured. We are paralysed in our own thought process. We have almost reached a stage of catastrophizing things.
In the bargain, What sort of a life are we offering to the new generation ahead of us?
The havoc within us needs to be resolved, calmed and adhered to. Once we are relaxed, we perceive things in a different perspective and make a healthy living. Children observe us all the time. They learn through observation.
