The Covid-19 pandemic has given us memories to cherish or learnings to ponder. The “New Normal” norm is been discussed all around the globe, adhered to and as a matter of no choice been gradually accepted and has been a part of our lives. From lockdown restrictions to vaccines and re-opening of schools etc, guess the new normal would come in shape with a couple of challenges. The pandemic has transformed most of our lives and thinking. Having been brought up with a minimalistic, simple approach of living, I wonder if it all makes sense now. All the puzzle pieces put together, we now believe in something we were told/taught many years ago. Anyways, to each its own.
This sowed a thought – How about The New Normal “Self”? The internet and all the people around us are buzzing with information on covid 19. Have you imagined a Bokeh effect.. or a faded photo on a blurred background that comes to light when we go closer? Well, Self-care and lifestyle changes are those blurred images that need to come alive by overcoming constraints embedded within. “Me” Time has become an integral part for all of us. Not that we never had the time for ourselves. We were just too busy with all the hustle and bustle of life. Now, it’s time to ponder and act. It is a reminder that Life need not be perfect. Slow down and breathe!
