We like having Pancakes with Maple Sauce just hot off the griddle. A pancake is a cake but flat. When we make it, it turns out to be round and mildly fluffy and soft. I have always had pancakes that my grandma made at home with fresh ingredients. Never did I even hear about Betty Crocker or Hungry Jack. There are plenty of them out there. Now my kids are fond of Betty Crocker and my inherited recipe from my granny. These days you get a flavour of buttermilk, honey or even millet pancakes for good health.
So usually on a weekend, we take the Pan, take the batter and make a pancake. Kids have now learnt it and since they happen to wake up earlier than me out of habit, the batter is all ready for me to put it on our cute little pan. Easy to make. Add a spoon of honey or maple syrup, top it up with an apple slice or pieces of fruit, it can serve you a good filling breakfast.
