A soft voice spoke unto me,
Hello, How do you do?
I shook my tiny head in awe,
And questioned, Who are you?
The voice I heard was intimate,
So tamed and unconstrained.
Swiftly it brushed against my ears,
Consciousness, I gained.
Yes! There is a voice within me,
Hushing sounds oft and on,
I simply need to listen,
To my heart’s lovely song.
So, I surrender to the silent voice,
A tone of perfect sound.
A murmur that whispers all day long,
A voice that’s mine, I found.
