We often have seen people or ourselves having a strong fondness, enthusiasm, or desire for something. We would do anything to pursue it under no circumstances.
Why Do We Have A Passion For What We Do?
We are all destined for something, and maybe that passion keeps the flame alive. Say for example: I like music. Isn’t it easy to relate to another person who loves music too? It’s like walking the same path and you instantly gel with that person or a friend. Maybe it would bring a character to life when the significance relates to a particular passion.
Passion is an emotion that each one of us has within us. It needs to be discovered and adhered upon. It is not a dream or a hobby that one might pursue. Passion is like being obsessed. You just love what you are doing. Passion is not something that we might be able to see or touch. It is an innate feeling that one might experience.
Being passionate can also mean being invested. It means how much effort one is willing to put in to achieve it. Passionate people can be highly ambitious too.
This reminds me of a nice proverb.
“It is obvious that we can no more explain a passion to a person who has never experienced it than we can explain light to the blind.“ T.S. Elliot.
