Daughter you are so wonderful,
You surround me with your special charm.
You fill my heart with so much love,
You are thoughtful, loving and a treasure abound.
Your twinkling cute eyes sparkle and glow,
You are kind and giving with a heart of gold.
You cheer and like to hop, sing and dance,
You make me smile with your grin in a glance.
Your tiny hands and toes once I held,
Have outgrown my palms as time can tell.
Holding your finger I helped you write,
In your red and blue book the ABC’s of life.
Your bubble bath and a scrub a dub dub,
Soap on the nose and feet in the tub.
You clean your cute little fingers and soft brittle nails,
With a pink loofah with a gel as you glow your face.
All the hugs that I give just doesn’t seem enough,
I want to cuddle and kiss you for you are growing up so fast.
You are a cute little doll with a naughtiness in your eyes,
That makes you special and adorable in mama’s sight.
The world is at your feet and so you must dream so big,
I will protect you from the storms when you need me dear.
May you get what you need but each battle you must face,
Get stronger and tougher for life is to be embraced.
I hope to share my thoughts when I look up to you,
As you grow up to understand what I say and do.
I am short of words to say how much you mean to me,
My love for you lasts till eternity.
