Someone wisely said, Only pack what you can carry. Damn…it’s so natural to pack things even those we don’t need thinking we might require it on our journey. What kind of journey are we travelling? Will there be no amenities on the way? And then when we reach our destination we realise that most of the things we “carried” weren’t even useful. It is the same with life. The “Rope” we hold on to everyday will someday wear out. We pack up joys, sorrows, greed, shame, pride, regret, chains and pains, emotional weathers, unemotional setups, gloomy corners to happy circles and Oh so much .. so much stuff. What holds us is “our own rope”. We choose how to build our rope strong. We hang on to beliefs that we cannot do something simply because what if we fail or what people will think of us. As a constant reminder, let us make our rope of life full of strength so in case life turns us down and “Yes it will”, we have our rope to keep us tightly tied to our branches of our own self.
